Who Should Take?
This class is appropriate for students who are interested in the AMC 8 or MATHCOUNTS and want to show what they can do on this contest.
Students just getting started with middle-school math contests should consider our AMC 8/MATHCOUNTS Basics course. Students with more consistent success in these contests (in particular, students who score 15+ on the AMC 8 or 25+ on Chapter-level MATHCOUNTS competitions) should consider our AMC 8/MATHCOUNTS Advanced course. See our AMC 8/MATHCOUNTS guide for a comparison between the Basics and Advanced courses.
Students who have not completed a pre-algebra class (or equivalent training through prior preparation for the AMC 8 or MATHCOUNTS) should start with our Introduction series of classes. Please visit our Course Recommendations page to determine which class is best for you.
